Blogs are a great place to get inspiration, learn something new and to even meet someone new! In a previous post we mentioned some of our vendors and how they are using blogs to communicate and express themselves.

Seema Krish and her team featured our very own Kaoru Hudachek on their latest round titled, Showroom Talk

Last week we hosted Christopher Farr and Michal Silver from Cloth.  As a company Cloth has always taken chances and implemented great strides in textile experimentation. They continue to support textile design as an art form, working with several different designers creating a very unique collection. Here are some photos of their presentation.

We are very excited about their latest collaboration with the Alber’s Foundation and their venture into the world of wallcovering.

Above you can see some of the wonderful new textile designs that are directly inspired by Anni Albers work. Her pieces  have a timeless quality and their modernity translates and fits into our current space.  The Alber’s foundation has a great mission that upholds the philosophy that she and Josef shared to continue “the revelation and evocation of vision through art.”

As of recent we have noticed an uptick in blogging, especially from our vendors. Not only are they wonderful makers, they have great design insight, fun ideas, and love sharing their products. Blogs (like this one) are a great place to get out a message or just another way to relay information to you, the client.

Textile designer, Seema Krish has an insightful new series that features conversations with her favorite designers. To follow this feature and see what Seema is up to, check out her blog here.

Noted for their inventive style and creative use of color, Scotland based, Timorous Beasties brings a lot to the table. They are constantly pushing the barrier of what toile  is and re thinking the traditional patterns of yore. Find out even more about what they are up to via there blog.
